Internode has been successfully delivering services to customers in the health sector for many years, and has participated in previous Commonwealth IT initiatives targeting pharmacies and general practices. Subsequently, we have gained valuable experience in understanding the specific needs of health sector clients in terms of quality, speed, security and reliability. Vectra Corporation is a South Australian based integration services provider that has been recognised in the Top 25 Rising Star Awards of 2005 by MIS magazine. Vectra has significant experience in information security, in the provision of managed and technical services and has developed an IT security audit survey and a Practice IT Security Manual specifically for health professional practices. Vectra also coordinates the provision and maintenance of antivirus and firewall services for practice computer workstations. Internode provides help desk services that are available 7 days a week; monthly invoicing and billing inquiry assistance; and an account management team with these elements included within our proposed range of services for HealthConnect SA clients. Vectra provides the prompt delivery of the services required by HealthConnect SA of local security audits, hardware delivery and configuration services. Internode and Vectra’s services are available to customers right throughout South Australia. At this stage, we have not implemented additional charges for regional installations.
